Ubbu  is the creation of two sisters, Usha and Bhavna,
who truly enjoy working together to create simply fun and elegant handcrafted jewelry that compliment your confidence and beauty.

We began our journey designing and creating jewelry
after one of us had a life-changing experience. Divorce
and starting over after many years of marriage was daunting. At first making handcrafted jewelry was a nice diversion to help get through the difficult period. But the more we worked together on this 'hobby,' it was obvious that we had discovered something more - a passion for making beautiful jewelry.

Initially, we had reservations about starting a business. However, after seeing our friends enjoying 
our designs we were inspired and excited about the opportunity to work on something together.
That's what led to ubbu (our initials), to mirror our close relationship and creative spirit. Our creations are completely wearable and our designs are versatile for both day or evening wear.

Both of us are busy moms with careers in the corporate world. We live on opposite ends of the United States (Georgia and California), and have design studios in both states, where each piece is handcrafted with a lot of love and care.
